Useful tips to avoid breakdowns and keep costs down!

•Check oil level daily – Low oil level will cause the compressor to overheat and eventually trip out!

•Clear debris from the oil cooler and pre filter weekly – Blocked filters will also cause high temperature issues

•Report any oil leaks as soon as they’re visible – We can then schedule a more cost effective visit before the compressor shuts down on fault

•Ensure the air into the compressor is as cool as possible and the vents are not blocked – The compressor must breath cool air to keep the oil temperature down

•Allow the hot air emitting from the compressor to escape into the atmosphere away from the cold air inlet – If the hot air is hindered or allowed to enter into the cool air inlet, you’ll experience high temperature problems

•Repair all air leaks no matter how small! – Air leaks not only cause the compressor to work harder, but increase the energy costs of the compressor too
